Director of Liturgy for St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, Modesto


Under the leadership of the Pastor, the Director of Liturgy is responsible for the preparation and celebration of Catholic Liturgies and Rituals. He/She provides leadership in the planning, execution, and celebration of all parish liturgies, and coordinates other liturgical ministries; also educates the parish in areas of liturgy according to the vision of the Second Vatican Council, and assumes administrative responsibilities relevant to the position.  He/She will work closely with the Director of Music and the Liturgy Committee.  Qualifications include: Baptized member of a Catholic parish faith community, Liturgy Certificate or equivalent certification and demonstrated evidence/knowledge of current liturgical norms, a minimum of 3 years successful work experience in a parish, ability to work flexible hours with some evenings and weekends, knowledge of office and productivity software and web-based applications, proficient in English and Spanish, verbal and written, preferred.  The deadline to apply is September 7, 2017.  Please send cover letter/resume, job description request or questions to liturgy@ststanscc.org.

Position: CalFresh Outreach Specialist- San Joaquin County


Catholic Charities Nutrition Assistance Services has a full-time opening for a CalFresh Outreach Specialist in the Stockton office. This position provides outreach activities to increase awareness of CalFresh benefits in San Joaquin County, in both English and Spanish. The position will require the incumbent to work 35 hours per week, and may include occasional evenings and weekends. Applicants must be able to work independently and occasional evenings or weekends, have excellent communication skills, close attention to detail, willing to speak in front of large audiences. Must possess a valid California Driver's license and be cleared through a fingerprinting and background check.
