GATHERING IN THE LIGHT OF CHRIST & LIVING THE JOY OF LOVE IN THE FAMILY
It was truly a blessing to come together as a community and celebrate Mass along with Bishop Cotta presiding.
We enjoyed a delicious (Covid Guideline Compliant) breakfast generously and cheerfully prepared by members of St. Anthony Parish Ministry Team.
We were inspired by Bishop Cotta’s vision for evangelization within the diocese flowing from domestic church centered catechesis. This continuum of formation is empowered by our sacramental life as individuals and as church.
Robert presented an inspiring summary of a talk on the Divine Mercy from the USCCB Respect Life Conference. He then explained the information in the USCCB Respect Life Month Parish Packets. May the placing of our respect life activities under the patronage of St. Joseph the legal and spiritual head of the most holy domestic Church inspire us to meet our challenges with complete trust in the Divine Mercy.
Dcn. Steve explained that the continuum of formation empowered by our sacramental life emphasized by Bishop Cotta is a direction affirmed and supported by Pope Francis and our US Bishops as evidenced by Amoris Laticia Year of the Family and the Pastoral Framework for Marriage and Family Life Ministry in the United States: Called to the Joy of Love.
