Lectio Divina is an ancient tradition in which the faithful respond to the word of God with openness to His personal message to us. Latin for “Divine Reading,” this form of prayer includes the following:
- Reading the Word of God - Reading Sacred Scripture
- Meditating on God's Word - Listening to God's Message to you
- Praying - Speaking to God at a personal level
- Contemplating - Being in silence with God
- Acting - Spiritual growth
