Liturgical Resources - Death of Pope Francis

Pope Francis ended his earthly pilgrimage on Easter Monday, April 21st, 2025. Following his funeral and burial on Saturday, April 26, the traditional period of mourning known the novendiales begins, the nine days where we pray in a special way for the deceased pontiff.

The USCCB has provided a novena that could be prayed as a way of participating in the novendiales:

The funeral of Pope Francis will be livestreamed, beginning at 1:00am PT, Saturday, April 26th.
