Why a Parish Offertory Program?
In 2018, the Bishop’s Financial Recovery Task Force made a recommendation that the diocese arrange for an offertory enhancement campaign in all thirty-five parishes with Bannon and Associates as campaign consultant.
In the fall of 2018, the Parish Offertory Program began in all thirty-five parishes with the following goals:
2021 Parish Offertory Enhancement Program: "Our Hearts Are Filled with Gratitude for You"
During these uncertain times of financial challenges, many of our parishes are hurting from these very difficult Covid19 times. Although the pandemic has had a significant impact on all of us - our families, employment, Church, and schools, we remain committed to working together “in gratitude” to serve our parishioners and communities during this difficult time. We need ongoing prayers and support from our faithful, now more than ever.
As our Pastoral Leaders continue the good work in faithfully serving our parishioners during this time, it is critical that we proceed with our Parish Offertory Enhancement Program to ensure continued sound fiscal stability. The purpose of this year’s Offertory Program is to provide a streamlined approach to our annual stewardship activity and continue to meet the evangelization and other significant needs of our parishes.
